Two Fretless Basses

In contributing to a tread on TalkBass.org, I took this photo of my two fretless basses. Intending to sell the MTB with flat wounds on it. I’ve been absorbing all of Gary Willis’s material since the late 80’s and would say he’s one of my main influences. The GWB has a protected neck and can handle the round wounds that are part of Gary’s unique sound. When the sunburst 20th Anniversary addition came out, it was decided that it was time to acquire the real deal. – J

Both sunburst. I like them both. The brown pick-ups on the MTB are unique.
